Gone are the days of admiring traditional princess or queen archetypes with their long, curled hair and tall, slender frames. It’s time to embrace the present, for it is the year 2023.
In this age, we ponder upon the essence of modernity. How would Persephone, the mythical queen of the underworld, appear if she walked among us today?
Drawing inspiration from awe-inspiring, resilient, and empowered women, I embarked on this project. My aim was to capture the essence of contemporary femininity, while still evoking the regal presence of a queen who reigns over the depths below.

‘STYGIAN THORNS’
This garment captures the essence of Persephone's underworld domain with its dramatic, angular silhouette and prominent, pointy edges. It evokes the imagery of a queenly crown adorned with dark and mysterious thorns, symbolizing Persephone's power and beauty in the depths of the underworld. The combination of Greek mythology and regal aesthetics makes it a captivating piece that blends ancient inspiration with a contemporary digital fashion sensibility.
'CROCODILE RAGE'
This unique garment blends the allure of modernity with the timeless sophistication of crocodile leather. Embracing the essence of Persephone's contemporary spirit, it offers a striking juxtaposition between strength and modesty.
‘SOVEREIGN ENIGMA’
Inspired by the resolute strength of a harness, it embodies a striking blend of bold lines and powerful silhouettes. The garment's design evokes both the commanding authority of queens and the ethereal grace of Greek mythology. As you don this magnificent creation, you become a harbinger of Persephone's power, draped in a fiery ensemble that blurs the line between mortal and divine.
‘ALLURE OF MODERN BEAUTY’
This digital design reimagines the Greek Goddess Persephone in a modern context. For this look, I opted for a distinctive approach featuring more belts and volume, particularly at the shoulders, to convey a sense of strength. The off-the-shoulder top remains slightly revealing. The inspiration comes from mixing feminine and masculine vibes together, combining handy, masculine pants with soft, feminine elements. This is how I envision Persephone would dress if she lived in today's world.
'MUSCLED DIVINITY'
Within this modern interpretation of Persephone's realm, the garment celebrates the transformative power found within the depths of dedication. Its intricate details accentuate the sculpted lines and muscular definition, accentuating the beauty that arises from disciplined strength. By adorning this garment, you embody the spirit of Persephone herself, radiating an elegant and commanding presence that leaves an indelible mark.
