I’m Eline Bruins, a Fashion designer and digital artist.
I design for the wearer, I aim to communicate a sense of self-assurance and strength. For me, self-confidence means feeling comfortable in your clothes and your own body. I do this by accentuating certain features or designing tight-fitting clothing.
I enjoy collaborating with women, men and everything in between who aim to wear my designs. To understand how they feel empowered and how I can translate that into clothing, while maintaining my own style. My style lies between sporty and elegant, incorporating a mix of materials such as lycra, scuba, denim, and cotton. And combining streetwear with romantic extravagant pieces.
To contribute to sustainability, I incorporate a significant amount of upcycled denim and vintage suits into my designs. Additionally, I prioritize creating initial samples using digital design programs like Clo3D/Blender to conserve time, energy, and, most importantly, fabric.
In my work, I often utilize vibrant colors, with blue, pink, and lilac being especially meaningful to me. These shades are not only happy and colorful but also draw attention to the design. While I incorporate other colors too, these particular tones stand out as my preferred choices for their cheerful and attention-grabbing qualities.
With all these elements I give the wearer the feeling of strength and self-confidence
